The PTU Board is made up of several parents who meet once a month in St. Peter Church basement to coordinate the different activities of the PTU.

• President: Guides and directs the organization and Board; conducts any and all meetings.
• Vice President(s): Assists in the administration of the PTU; presides at meetings when the President cannot do so; directs the Ways and Means Committee.
• Secretary: Responsible for general correspondence; keeps a complete list of members and minutes of all meetings; notifies Board members of upcoming meetings.
• Treasurer: Keeps accurate records; gives financial status reports; cooperates with yearly audit.

Awareness: Helps to promote St. Peter School through newsletters, yard signs, stickers, etc.

Giant Eagle Receipts: Collects Giant Eagle receipts

Historian: Compiles a scrapbook of pictures, newspaper articles, and any other publicity information regarding the various PTU activities; takes pictures at PTU events.

Hospitality: Organizes refreshments and cleanup for PTU events, such as Spirit Sunday, Welcome Tea, Craft Bazaar, in charge of kitchen at Christmas Craft Bazaar and any PTU sponsored function; helps with refreshments for First Reconciliation, Kindergarten, and Eighth Grade graduation.

Little Angles Resale: Plans and organizes children's resale, May 16, 2009

Market Day: Runs Market Day once a month, unloads food from truck, sorts, helps customers locate items.

Newsletter: Coordinates the collection and typing of PTU news articles from Board members and the printing and mailing of the newsletter about four to six times during the year.

Room Parents' Chair: Organizes the Welcome Tea in September; plans Staff Christmas Luncheon, and communication with Room Parents; works with Sunshine Committee on Teacher Appreciation Week activities; supervises reception for Reconciliation, Kindergarten Transition, and Eighth Grade graduation.

School & Community Projects: Organizes and coordinates the Book Fairs, Easter Candy Sale, Sweatshirt/Gym Bag Sale, Children's plant sale for Mother's Day, Uniform Sale, and other activities that provide more of a "service" to the school/parish. A chairperson for this position is in charge of overseeing each project, choosing a coordinator to run things, and helping wherever possible.
