Welcome to a new school year! We have many exciting projects coming up this year. We will be learning about communities and improving our map skills.  In math,we will be working on addition,subtraction, multiplication and division. Please encourage your child to practice flashcards whenever possible.  They need to be fluent in all facts especially multiplication.

    We will be taking some field trips this year. We will be going to Stocker Center at LCCC and the zoo is also  on our agenda. We will  be going to the nursing home at Christmas time to sing for the residents. This is always enjoyable because they are so grateful for the visit. All are welcome to join us for this event.

I am really enjoying this class and I know we will have a great year.
